Buffalo is coming off a 30-13 win over Lafayette in Week 1, which was Pete Lembo’s first victory as the team’s head coach in his first season leading the Bulls.
That accomplishment is out of the way. Now the Bulls have a much different challenge in Week 2.
Buffalo will play at Missouri, one of the top teams in the FBS as the Tigers are ninth in the AP Top 25. This game might show some weaknesses for the Bulls, but will also be an opportunity for them to show they’ve improved since last year.

Buffalo vs. Missouri Prediction
I predict Missouri will win and cover the spread at -34.5. I also predict the game will go Over 51.5 total points.
I think the Tigers are just too talented and too well-balanced for Buffalo to keep this close. Brady Cook is a good veteran quarterback, and the Tigers have plenty of weapons at the skill positions including running backs Nate Noel and Marcus Carroll, both recent transfers from Group of Five programs.
I do think the Bulls are better than they were last season. But I don’t believe they’ve made enough strides to compete with a top-10 team on the road quite yet.
