After a decisive victory over Fordham, Bowling Green will have a much more difficult test this week.
The Falcons are traveling to take on No. 8-ranked Penn State. This game represents several opportunities Group of Five programs have to go up against a Power Four foe.
But do the Falcons have a shot at winning?

Bowling Green vs. Penn State Prediction
I predict Penn State will win and cover the spread at -34.5. I also project the game will go Over 48.5 total points.
Even despite a weather delay, Penn State took care of business and opened the season with a win at West Virginia. Quarterback Drew Allar was pretty efficient, throwing for 216 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions on 11-of-16 passing while rushing for 44 yards.
As much as I think Bowling Green is capable of competing for a MAC title this year, I don’t believe the Falcons quite have the talent to keep up with the Nittany Lions.
I expect Penn State’s defense to be strong, for Bowling Green to struggle early on offense, and for this game to be decided by the fourth quarter.
