Welcome to the 2021 FCS Jersey Countdown.
Leading up to Week 0 games on Aug. 28, HERO Sports is going to name the best returning FCS player by jersey number, 99-0. Due to rosters being updated at different times for teams across the country and to keep things consistent, jersey numbers are based on the 2020 fall-2021 spring season.

73: Tim Coleman, OL (Sr.) — Richmond
A three-star high school recruit out of Georgia, Coleman chose to attend Furman and saw action right away. He started all 11 games for the Paladins in 2016 and was named a HERO Sports Freshman All-American.
With hopes of playing in the NFL and due to Furman running a more option-style offense, Coleman decided to transfer after his standout debut season. He landed at Richmond and redshirted in 2017.
Beginning in 2018, Coleman has started 27 straight games at left tackle for the Spiders and is a two-time All-CAA Second Team selection. He plans to return for a sixth season this fall.
Coleman has below-average height for a tackle, standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 320 pounds. His athleticism and wrestling background makes up for it, though, which also projects him as an interior lineman at the next level.
