72: David Kroll, OL (Sr.) — Delaware
Kroll is a monster on the Delaware offensive line, standing 6-foot-7 and weighing 315 pounds. He is a three-year starter and has appeared in 42 career games for the Blue Hens.
The Virginia native had his best season in the spring as Delaware advanced to the semifinals. The left tackle earned All-American First Team honors from Stats Perform, the AP, and Athlon Sports. He enters the fall on Athlon Sports’ Preseason All-American First Team.
Kroll is an intriguing pro prospect. He comes from an athletic family as his mom played college basketball at the University of Rochester and his dad wrestled at Montana State. He will have the attention of NFL scouts as he puts more snaps on film this fall.
NFLDraftBuzz states, “He has the quickness and growth potential, long arms and powerful base to be one of the most popular players in predraft film sessions. If he impresses in private workouts, he could climb draft boards.”
