Arkansas State didn’t appear to be headed in the right direction under head coach Butch Jones.

The Red Wolves went 5-19 during the first two seasons of his tenure. They also started the 2023 season 0-2 with blowout losses against Oklahoma and Memphis.

But then they bounced back, won a few Sun Belt games, and made a bowl game for the first time since 2019. The Red Wolves hope to keep that momentum going with Jones returning.

Here’s more information about him.
