Leading up to Week 0 games on Aug. 28, HERO Sports is going to name the best returning FCS player by jersey number, 99-0. Due to rosters being updated at different times for teams across the country and to keep things consistent, jersey numbers are based on the 2020 fall-2021 spring season.

36: Aniello Buzzacco, LB (Sr.) — Robert Morris
Buzzacco is a tackling machine for the Robert Morris defense.
In 2019, the 6-foot, 230-pounder racked up 131 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and two interceptions to earn All-NEC Second Team honors.
The Colonials only played three games in the spring season as they made their debut in the Big South. Buzzacco still had 39 tackles and three TFLs, leading the conference in tackles per game. In the season-opener at No. 2 James Madison, Buzzacco had one of the best games in his career, showcasing his talent with 15 tackles, 10 of which were solo.
He earned All-Conference First Team honors despite the limited games. Buzzacco enters the fall on the First Team as well.
