The 2017 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Philadelphia from Thursday, April 27 to Saturday, April 29 this year. Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will be finding a new home where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and be able to make a living by playing on Sundays.
Between now and the end of April we will be featuring some of the stars of tomorrow. Many of these are names from big time college football programs you will recognize, while some will be new to all but the most dedicated followers of the sport.
Today we look at Idaho defensive tackle Glen Antoine, a player who has been steadily rising up draft boards since the end of the college football season.

In this day and age, the term sleeper is found much more commonly in the world of fantasy football than in the real NFL. Glen Antoine though is a legitimate sleeper in this draft and the former Idaho Vandal is going to make some defensive line coach very happy come draft day.
With a few rare exceptions, it is fair to say that stats and numbers mean very little from the defensive tackle spot. Each team asks its DTs to play a little differently and in many schemes the job of the tackle is just to eat up blockers making any actual stat production a bonus. Even with that said Antoine had a good year at Idaho, totaling 33 tackles, three tackles for a loss, and one sack.
At 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds, this is a giant man that just loves to play football. His motor and hustle for his size are both very impressive and for a big guy he plays with great leverage. Watch this video to see how he splits double teams and always finishes his hit on every play. Watch out for Antoine in the April Draft and remember where you heard his name first.
