I’m picking Wyoming to win and cover the spread at +5.5. I also am predicting the game will go Under 51 total points.
Both Wyoming and UNLV are in the top four in the Mountain West in terms of scoring defense. While UNLV’s offense also leads the league with 36.7 points per game scored, I think these two defenses will shine in this matchup.
And if that happens, I anticipate Wyoming would win. The Cowboys still have a shot of making the Mountain West Championship, but they might end up needing this win for that to happen. I think they end up putting together a solid performance on defense and dominating on the ground with their rushing attack en route to victory.
